Genera 2010 edition

The 2010 edition of the Energy and Environment International Trade Fair came to a very satisfactory conclusion on 21 May 2010.

The exhibition became an established, important event for the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector and, this year, attracted 409 direct exhibitors representing 662 companies. A total of 37.3% of these exhibitors were foreign companies from 30 countries, a statistic that confirms GENERA's role as a benchmark event for the Spanish market and the international scene.

The high quality and diversity of the companies exhibiting at GENERA made this a very interesting event for the 28,984 trade professionals coming from 61 countries. This figure corresponds to 22,865 individual visits by different visitors on different days, and represents an increase of 8% in comparison to the results of GENERA 2010.

With regard to the fair's impact on professional areas around the country, it is worth noting that 51.15% of the visitors received came from different parts of Spain. Most were from Madrid where the event took place, followed by attendees from the autonomous regions of Catalonia and Andalusia.

7.2% of the visitors came from all over the world representing the 60 foreign nationalities in attendance, mostly from Portugal, followed by Germany, France, Italy and the United States.
