The 2nd Generation BioEnergy Match project will run a series of four matchmaking events in connection with major, well-known trade fairs, giving you the chance to meet potential clients, open new markets and find new technologies and methods. Matchmaking events are basically speed-dating for organisations, based on 30 minute meetings, which is enough time to find out whether there is any potential for co-operation. After 30 minutes, you move on to the next meeting.

 

Based on many years experience and feedback from participants, roughly 1/3 of meetings are expected to result in some form of co-operation.

 

 How many meetings can I have during the events?

Over the course of the events, you can meet up to 20 other potential partners, although most people find that 10-12 meetings is more than enough over two days. Of course, if you see an interesting profile during the matchmaking event, you can always request an extra meeting from the help desk.

 

 My country is not represented on the list. Can I still take part?

Yes of course, there are no restrictions on grounds of nationality.

 

How do I take part?

Simply fill in this form here, which is your registration profile and you will be contacted by your regional partner, who can help you with the practical details.

 

This registration profile is a short description of your organisation, which is entered into the matchmaking database, where you can see all profiles for companies registered. If you see any interesting organisations, you can select them and request a meeting. Remember that over the course of the matchmaking, other organisations may also be interested in meeting with you. Once all companies are registered, you will be sent a timetable for all your meetings.
